Our Journey So Far
Since 1979, Pacey Truck Services has been keeping trucks and heavy vehicles on the road with reliable, transparent service. What started with Phillip Pacey has grown into a trusted workshop, now led by Metua Umaki. The workshop became family-owned in 2016 — and remains so today.
Over the years, we’ve expanded our services to include panel beating and truck fabrication, alongside our mechanical service. Even as we’ve grown, our approach hasn’t changed — we’ve always believed in doing things properly, the way they should be done.
Being a long-standing local workshop means we’ve seen generations of drivers, owners, and businesses come through our doors. It’s a reminder of how far we’ve come and the responsibility we carry moving forward.

Mechanical Repairs
We look after heavy and commercial vehicles with reliable repairs, servicing, and maintenance. We prepare vehicles for COF, and if yours has already failed, bring in the fail sheet and we’ll take care of the repairs required to pass.
We repair rusted, damaged, dented, and collision-affected panels, restoring your vehicle to its original shape. After repairs are completed, we prepare the surface and apply paint so it blends seamlessly with the rest of the vehicle.
Panel Beating
We carry out custom truck fabrication and repairs, including trays, tippers, body modifications, and structural repairs. Where required, we complete welding and fabrication to meet COF standards.

Who We Work With
Some jobs are completed through an external company we’ve worked with for many years and know we can rely on.
Auckland Tyre Doctors take care of our tyre supply, fitting, alignment, vulcanising, and casing disposal. They’ve supported us well for over 13 years and continue to be a dependable part of our workflow.
